The process of buying a home is completely overwhelming, especially the first one!  The employees of VG made it so much easier to understand the home inspection process.  Bradley was VERY thorough and thoughtful in his explanations as well as timely in completing the report.  He looked for and at things I didn't even know existed in our house.  I would absolutely recommend Value Guard. 

This was our 1st home inspection and Cory Shalaway was there 30 mins early checking into some stuff. He seemed to really love his job and really care about finding problems so that we could know and fix them. Overall a very professional company and do the job right.

This was a very complete inspection with Cory explaining as he needed to.We are the parents of clients and have spent the past 45 years rebuilding our older home. We attended the inspection and knew exactly what he was saying. We do need to thank Cory for all he did. This inspection gives us a punch list for the next 20 years, one that we did not have back in 1963 so we had to rennovate as we discovered the problems, this makes it much easier.

Mike had inspected another property for us earlier in the year, and his thorough work enabled us to walk away from what would have been a big mistake. When it came time for an inspection on another property we were considering, there was absolutely no question we would call Valueguard again. For this new property his inspection has allowed us to buy with confidence.

Bradley is great.  Personable and professional.  I have used ValueGuard twice (both Bradley) and both times he has gotten there early and started the inspection before I got there.  I can see how some people appreciate this.   As a former Homer Inspector I feel like it can put some customers off though.  I feel like there should be a chance for customer/inspector to meet at the beginning to go over expectations and lay out a game plan so everyone is on the same page.  Otherwise Bradley is great and I have already recommended ValueGuard to others.

Brad was great to work with.  He took the time to explain everything he found and went back and double-checked things we had questions about.  He understood our concerns and didn't treat any of our questions as annoying or unimportant.  Brad gave his business card (with cell phone number) to us and stressed that we could call him with any follow-up questions.  We called Brad 2 weeks later (after making changes to our settlement agreement based on the inspection) and he remembered the inspection and was able to pull up the report quickly.  He answered all our questions in this phone call and expressed interest in how the settlement process was going.  We felt like he was "on our team" the whole time.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH MY INITIAL PHONE CONVERSTION WITH SHELLY.  SHE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION I HAD.  CORY THE INSPECTOR WAS ALSO VERY GOOD AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.  THE INSPECTION REPORT WE GOT BACK WAS IMPRESSIVE IT CONTAINED PICTURES AND INFORMATION WE CAN REFERENCE TO LATER.  THE INSPECTION REPORT CANNOT COMPARE WITH OTHERS THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED IN THE PAST. I WILL DEFINTELY BE USING YOUR SERVICES IN THE FUTURE.
