New homes should be inspected regardless of whether they will be conveyed with a builder's warranty.  When the building is completed, the home inspector will inspect the exterior, roof, gutters, chimneys, flashing, siding, trim, doors and site. He will also inspect the finished heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing and interior systems. A ValueGuard comprehensive inspection report is delivered via email the day following your inspection. This report generally ranges form 20-30+ pages with color photographs.
